The world’s largest oil and gas company is the target of a major sales push by the Coral Beirut Al Hamra Hotel which is sending a team to participate in the Aramco Travel Show taking place in Jeddah from April 7th.
The event provides an excellent platform to showcase the facilities of the hotel to an audience that includes the 57,000 employees of the Saudi Arabian conglomerate, as well as their families.
According to General Manager of the Coral Beirut Al Hamra Hotel, Hartmut Grauel, nearly 87 per cent of staff at the oil giant are Saudi Arabian citizens, many of whom prefer to travel to regional destinations for their long summer break.
“While the number of Saudi Arabians visiting Lebanon dropped 1.9 per cent in the first eight months of 2014, the country is still the fourth biggest regional market for Lebanon, and the largest in the GCC – as well as being one of the highest spending,” he said.
“With a convenient central location in Beirut, spacious rooms, private parking and free Internet access, the Coral Beirut Al Hamra offers an ideal base in the Lebanese capital for families wishing to escape to the seaside for the summer – and we look forward to introducing these facilities at the Aramco Travel Show to increase business from this market.”
