Turkish Airlines, Boeing and Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Turkey’s leading aerospace engineering and technology institution, opened their doors to the class of 2014-2016 of the recently founded new academic program that supports Turkey’s future airline executives.
Academic partners, experts from Boeing’s Commercial Airplanes’ Network and Fleet planning group, as well as Economic Analysis lead will join some of the courses for master’s program that will equip Turkish Airlines’ future executives with the skills needed to deal with Turkey’s rapidly growing aviation industry.
The two-year master’s program in Air Transport Management, which is the first of its kind in the region and was launched last year, also has academic partnerships with Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, Cranfield University in the United Kingdom and the University of British Columbia in Canada.
“Boeing has been working with Turkey for 70 years.
