The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Travel & Tourism Office (NTTO) and the Commercial Service Travel & Tourism Team are pleased to present an opportunity to learn about the fourth largest European market - the Nordic countries to the United States (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland). This program will be offered on February 3, 2015 at 11am EST.
The Nordic region generated over 1,158,000 travelers to the United States in 2013, up 5% over 2012. Since 2004, arrivals from India are up 89% compared to 2013. The four countries combined generated the fourth largest number of visitors from Europe in 2013. Learn more about how each of the four markets from the Nordic region have changed over time for arrivals to the U.S. and also what we know about the key traveler characteristics of visitors from the Nordic region over time and how to use this information to tailor your promotions, marketing and communications approach to this country. Representatives from each of the Commercial Service countries will also provide an update on their market and a Brand USA representative will also provide information on working in these markets.
