The nearly 5,600 cruise passengers and 2,800 crew members expected to visit represents an increase of 60% compared to 2014.
Five different vessels will anchor in the port this year: Pearl Mist, Seabourn Quest, Silver Whisper, Albatros and Saga Sapphire. The 2016 cruise season also looks promising with a total of eight calls already confirmed.
Last year marked the most successful international cruise season ever on the Saint Lawrence with over 261,000 cruise ship passengers and 94,000 crew representing a 20% increase from 2013.
