MPI UK &I are delighted to announce the 4th annual MPI Vanessa Cotton Scholarship, created in honour of UK event industry veteran Vanessa Cotton.
The scholarship was created to recognise the industry’s brightest and most ambitious students, graduating from event management degrees and supporting their first step in to the meetings and events sector.
The MPI Vanessa Cotton Scholarship, which is kindly sponsored by ExCeL London and Reed Travel Exhibitions will award at least one student an all-expenses paid trip to EMEC, the MPI European Meetings and Events Conference, to be held in Krakow on the 1st to the 3rd February 2015.
“Vanessa was one of the founder members of the UK and Ireland Chapter of MPI,” said Jane Baker, VP of Education for the MPI UK&I Chapter. “The scholarship is a unique opportunity to empower student members who have the drive and passion to make their mark in the events industry. In Vanessa’s memory we are rewarding a student who has demonstrated outstanding communication skills and a strong desire for personal development. We will be announcing the winner of the scholarship at EIBTM.”
