A new partnership with Turkish Airlines takes off on 1st September 2014 – enabling 4.5 million members of the frequent flyer programme to earn miles at Maritim hotels.
Maritim Hotels and Turkish Airlines have agreed to a two-year partnership, enabling the 4.5 million members of the Miles & Smiles frequent flyer programme to earn miles at a total of 50 Maritim hotels worldwide. 37 of these hotels are located in major German cities.
Turkish Airlines, founded in 1933, is a member of the Star Alliance and won the Skytrax award for “Europe's Best Airline” in 2013. The 4-star airline has a total fleet of 247 aircraft flying to 248 destinations worldwide. The Miles & Smiles frequent flyer programme, first introduced back in 1989, now boasts more than 4.5 million members around the world. Maritim is represented in most of the 13 cities to which the Turkish carrier flies in Germany, for example, Berlin, Bonn, Bremen, Halle, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hanover, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.
