Grupo Transhotel announces the agreement in principle reached with Grupo Hotusa for the acquisition by the latter of a majority interest of its shares.
The letter of intent, reached on August 8, establishes the intention that Grupo Transhotel be integrated into Grupo Hotusa once certain issues pertaining to aspects of verification and negotiation are resolved, and after obtaining the necessary approvals from the relevant authorities.
This agreement in principle will reinforce both companies’ respective strategies of international expansion in the field of hotel distribution. Thus, we are confident that the important synergies between the two organizations in different areas of management will result in an improvement of the overall competitive position of the organization
