ILTM Africa grows in its second year

Following last year’s inaugural success, ILTM Africa have reported that registrations for the 2014 event have increased by 56% year on year, with the US and Canada growing by 36%.
Of those accredited to attend, 30% have never attended a previous ILTM event. ILTM Africa has also reported specific growth from the most popular geographical region requested by exhibitors - North America. Now in its second year, ILTM Africa is set to introduce an unrivalled community of these dedicated Africa buyers and suppliers in over 57 mutually-matched, one-to-one appointments, across three days.
With a recent Price Waterhouse Coopers South African Outlook 2013 – 2017 report highlighting that 5* hotels will continue to be the fastest growing hotel category in South Africa as a direct result of interest from the BRIC countries.
Taking place in the 2014 Design Capital of the World – Cape Town (28 - 30 April, 2014), elite buyers will be fully hosted from 31 countries including: Argentina,
Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Chile, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the UAE, US and UK.
ILTM Africa is one of three co-located travel industry events that form Africa Travel Week 2014 (28 April – 3 May) in Cape Town. The other events are IBTM Africa (Incentive, Business Travel & Meetings) 28 - 30 April, and WTM Africa (World Travel Market), which will take place from 2 – 3 May.
