Japan's Okinawa Naha Airport new International Terminal Building will be open up on February 17th, 2014. The old international terminal will be closed on February 16th after CI123 departure, and after that all carriers including China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines will move to the new terminal. For passengers flying China Airlines & Mandarin Airlines to/from Okinawa, we'll be glad to be at your service in the new International Terminal from February 17th. Our check-in counters close 40 minutes before flight departure, so please kindly arrive at the new International Terminal before counters are closed.
The new terminal, with a floor space nearly 4 times larger, is located to the north of the domestic terminal, only 5 minutes walk from the old one. This is a four-story building. The arrival lobby and baggage clearance is on the 1st floor, and the 2nd floor houses the departure check-in and boarding area. Immigration operations are on the 3rd floor. The 4th floor accommodates the VIP lounge (Ryurin ¯[½ü) and an Observation Deck. Passengers who wish to use the VIP lounge after clearing immigration may take the elevator next to the Duty Free Shop on the 2nd floor.
Ground transportation (Taxi, Tour Bus and Car rental) is on the first floor outside the terminal. The Mono-rail station in Domestic Terminal is a 15-minute walk from the new International Terminal.
