YANCHENG, CHINA—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. opened the Aloft Yancheng in the Jiangsu Province of Eastern China.
The 299-room property is owned by Yancheng Powerlong Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., and is the seventh Aloft in China; it represents the first international hotel brand in the city.
According to Starwood, the hotel features urban-inspired design, tech-forward touches and a vibrant social scene featuring live music performances as well as meeting space.
"From the recent opening in Dalian to Aloft Yancheng, Aloft reflects a growing demand for design-led hotels with a lively social scene in emerging cities," said Qian Jin, president, Greater China, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. "We are thrilled to add Yancheng, an ideal location, to our robust portfolio in China."
