Fairmont Hotels Expands Reach into China

TORONTO—FRHI Hotels & Resorts (FRHI), the parent company of luxury hotel brand Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Hengli Management Co., Ltd, the subsidiary of Zhong An Real Estate Limited, will open Fairmont Hangzhou, a luxury hotel development in the capital city of Zhejiang province in the Yangtze River Delta region, Eastern China, in 2017.

Fairmont Hangzhou will feature 300 rooms, five dining outlets, a health club and swimming pool, Willow Stream Spa and more than 32,000 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet space. The project will also include 180 Fairmont Serviced Residences, providing access to private concierge services and other exclusive amenities.

Fairmont Hangzhou joins the luxury brand’s growing collection of hotels in China including Fairmont Peace Hotel, Shanghai; Fairmont Beijing; Fairmont Yangcheng Lake; Fairmont Nanjing (2013); Fairmont Chengdu and Residences, China (2014); and Fairmont Taiyuan (2016).
