BRUSSELS—Carlson Rezidor will open two new-build hotels in Moscow in 2016: the Radisson Congress Hotel, Moscow and the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Moscow.
The Radisson will add 400 rooms and a 13,123-sq.-ft. conference center to the portfolio, while its Park Inn counterpart, located adjacent to it, will add 600 rooms. Both will feature meeting rooms, a restaurant and lobby bar facilities, a fitness area and parking bays.
The hotels will be located on the grounds of the All-Russian Exhibition Center, which was originally built in 1935 and is now a city park and tourist attraction. It attracts some 15 million visitors per year, and a $1.5 billion redevelopment is planned.
LLC Renaissance of VVC is the developer for both hotels.
The signing of these two projects brings Carlson Rezidor’s portfolio in greater Moscow to 11 hotels with 3,700 rooms in operation and under development.
