BestCities
Managing Director, Jane Vong Holmes explained the concept of an online toolkit
was researched thoroughly before the alliance committed to the project. “We
tested the model on a group of international clients at our Client Forums in Singapore and
Melbourne who gave us plenty of constructive feedback. They were particularly
positive about the usefulness of a reputable resource for local associations
who may be new to organizing international congresses and new meeting planners
in particular.”
Unveiling
the Best Events Centre at BestCities’ Client Workshop in Houston , Greg Ortale, President and CEO of
Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau said: “We all utilise the
internet for research and have come to rely on it, but judging the reliability
of the source can be difficult and time consuming. As a collaboration of
relevant and trustworthy content sourced through our partners and industry
experts, the Best Events Centre will take the guess work out of the research.
Our
aim is to help our clients organise the best event possible by bringing all
these resources together in one online spacethat will make their task much
easier,” said Mr Ortale.
