Burning Man Festival, Nevada

The famous seven day festival took place recently and is sure to be something out of this world. Every year for a week, over 60,000 people flock into the Black Rock Desert or the “playa” in Nevada, where it becomes Black Rock City

Those attending will have paid roughly $500+ for their tickets – but the experience is sure to be worth every cent. The desert is transformed as a whole host of attenders come to showcase their art. By art, we don’t mean paintings on the wall or vases – we mean some of the coolest floats, tents and vehicles you and I have ever seen. Quite simply the Burning Man
Festival showcases some of the weirdest and coolest things on the planet – things the human mind would not even comprehend are present at this unique event. The nightlife in the desert is also fantastic, with light shows and parties happening all over the place as travellers battle with the heat and rave throughout the seven days!

The culmination of the event will happen on Saturday 31st, when 'the man' burns. A massive man is set on fire accompanied by huge fireworks and explosive displays that will inspire everyone there to see them. The party is then set to continue as fire dancers perform all over the desert and really set of the mood for the ultimate festival of self expression.
As the event comes to a close, volunteers will stick around the Black Rock Desert to restore it to exactly the way they had found it.
