New England's largest water park just got bigger

AGAWAM, MASS. - Six Flags New England is launching its exciting new waterslide complex Bonzai Pipelines on June 13, 2013.

The six-story tower is part of an expanded area inside New England's largest water park, Hurricane Harbor. With 33 waterslides, pools, and attractions, Hurricane Harbor houses 3 million gallons of water and offers water thrills for every member of the family.

Bonzai Pipelines is located in Hurricane Harbor's four acre expansion known as Bonzai Beach. Guests will step inside one of the six state-of-the-art launching capsules and within just a few seconds, the floor suddenly drops beneath them. Riders experience speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, as they rocket down a 257-foot long slide. After conquering the 360 degree loop, guests then splash into 6 inches of water in the slide's run-out. All six body slides have their own unique path of twists and turns resulting in six different heart-pounding, free-fall experiences to keep you screaming all summer long!

"We are proud to expand New England's largest water park, Hurricane Harbor", said John Winkler, president, Six Flags New England. "Bonzai Beach is the largest expansion Hurricane Harbor has seen in over a decade giving us the ability to welcome more guests for more fun. Bonzai Pipelines is a great addition to an already stellar lineup of attractions and another great way for guests to cool off this summer."

Guests can experience Bonzai Pipelines and the theme park's 60 additional thrill rides all summer long with a 2013 Season Pass or Membership Plan.
