Hotel
Denit,
of the Majestic
Hotel Group owned
by the Soldevila family, presents an exclusive, groundbreaking
project in the hotel sector: Petit Denit, the new virtual
concierge.
Petit Denit, developed in collaboration with Le Cool Agency, a publishing house specializing in cultural contents, guides and trendy magazines, allows the hotel reception to create a small tourist guide tailored to each guest. This guide is printed out in the moment in receipt format, including the guest’s name and selected areas of interest with the telephone number, address and distance from the hotel. Each receipt printed generates its own URL, giving the guest online access to the information forever.
The design of each receipt/guide is practical, original and can be adapted to mobile devices and tablets. Guests staying at Hotel Denit can use the Petit Denit virtual concierge service as many times as they want, printing out these receipts that serve as an illustrated, personalized, urban guide at any time.
Petit Denit works with a system of applications on a tiny thermal-technology printer, called Little Printer and manufactured by London-based company BERG Cloud. The new Hotel Denit virtual concierge takes the shape of a small, cube-shaped printer measuring some eight centimeters, which has more than 200 references including restaurants, bars, shops, points of interest and events in the city, selected from the favorites of the team at Le Cool and the Majestic Hotel Group.
The adorable mini concierge Petit Denit is located in the hotel reception, revolutionizing this application that was initially designed for home use and adapting it to the hotel sector for the first time in our country.
This new concept of virtual hotel-guide will allow Hotel Denit to offer its guests fully personalized service, ensuring that clients discover the city with the best quality, which is the unique seal of the Majestic Hotel Group.
A new innovation in the hotel guide par excellence
In 2010, Hotel Denit covered its walls with more than 200 vinyl panels of varying sizes featuring brief descriptions of special spots in the city of Barcelona. In the hallway, next to a dining-room table, in the foyer, outside the elevator, next to the bed, inside the closet... guests find special recommendations just about anywhere at Hotel Denit.
In 2013, complementing the new virtual concierge Petit Denit, the hotel will update some of the vinyl panels with new places and areas to discover in Barcelona.
