Following an increase in customer demand Grange Hotels will be catering for those looking for a comfortable and quiet room to drop their suitcases, freshen up after a long-haul flight, use as a focal hub, or rest and unwind for a few hours.
This service is initially being launched in three of the seventeen luxury hotels within the group; the Grange Tower Bridge hotel, Grange Holborn, and Grange Clarendon. If this new service offering proves as popular as expected, Day-Use rooms will be extended to other hotels within the collection.
Cost-effective and convenientThere is significant demand for hotel room availability during the day; however the usual check in time for an overnight stay is not until 2pm. This means guests would have to book the room the night before in order to guarantee an early check-in. Access to a Day-Use room is available from 10am – 6pm and the rates are significantly lower than those of an overnight stay.
Mary Doogan, Group General Manager of Grange Hotels said, “Our research clearly identified a sector of the business travel market which apparently had not been completely satisfied by the inability to guarantee early check-ins for those with early morning arrivals.”
“We hope that the flexibility of being able to book a room for a few hours after an overnight flight, or in-between a busy meeting schedule will prove very useful and cost-effective for many of our business clientele. This is in line with Grange Hotels constant endeavours to satisfy and, if possible, to surpass the expectations of our guests.”
