Darwin Airline, the Swiss regional airline leader in the Alpine and Subalpine area continues its network expansion by increasing its presence in the Czech Republic with two new destinations: Zurich-Prague and Florence-Prague, in collaboration with
Czech Airlines.
The collaboration with the Czech national airline which was initiated last autumn, has achieved excellent results and both companies want to strengthen their business relationship by offering the two new routes as well as bringing the existing flight Geneva-Prague, launched in September 2012, to a frequency of 7 flights per week.
To fulfill this growth strategy, Darwin Airline has announced the entry of its seventh SAAB 2000 into the fleet, starting its operational activities on April 8th.
The new flights from Zurich and Florence to Prague will be served 4 days per week, operated by Darwin Airline’s SAAB 2000 aircrafts offering 50 comfortable leather seats with a pitch, the distance between the seats, of 81cm.
Maurizio Merlo, the company's CEO, comments: "We are pleased that our collaboration with Czech Airline is being further strengthened and that our companies will extend their successful partnership. Darwin Airline is continuing to become the company of reference for
the Mediterranean area by implementing its strategy of expanding its business and leisure traffic through alliances with other European Airlines”.
