airBaltic to start flights to Milan Malpensa


Latvian airline airBaltic will start flights to Milan Malpensa airport.
The improved service starting March 31, will offer convenient travel between the two airports, and beyond to destinations in the Baltics, Scandinavia, Russia, and the CIS.
Michael Grimme, Chief Commercial Officer of airBaltic: “By moving to Milan Malpensa airport we can improve our schedule and connections via Riga for travellers from/to the Baltics, Scandinavia, Russia, and the CIS. Furthermore, our passengers will enjoy new connections to long-haulflights operated out of Milan Malpensa. airBaltic will fly from Riga to Milan Malpensa daily in code-share cooperation with Alitalia. Passengers will board a Boeing 737-300 aircraft for a flight that will last for 2 hours and 50 minutes. One-way ticket prices will start at LVL 49 (EUR 69), including airport fees and transaction costs.
