the number of flight movements to 71,758.

Airport handled 18,163,918 passengers (+7.4%) and recorded a 1 per
cent drop in thenumber of flight movements to 171,114 take-offs
andlandings.

2012
In
December 2012, both airports combined recorded 1,783,652 passengers;
0.5 per cent less than in the same monththe
previous year. The number of take-offs
and landings amounted to 16,917 flight movements (-5.8%).
At 2,333 tonnes, air freight in December fell by
6.5 per cent.
496,893
passengers were recorded at Schönefeld Airport last month; 7.1
per cent less than in December 2011.
Tegel
recorded 1,286,759 passengers in December; 2.3 per cent more than in
the same month the previous year.
