AmaWaterways
launches its first Seine cruises, two new ships and four new
itineraries
Next
year will see a host of new cruises from AmaWaterways with its first
ever cruises on the Seine, two new shops andfour new itineraries in
France and Portugal. New ship AmaPrima will debut in April 2013 on
the Danube and the Rhine, and the AmaVida will launch on the Douro in
March. AmaPrima, a 164-guest river cruiser, will feature spacious
rooms, most with twin balconies, a heated swimming pool, and free use
of on board bicycles. AmaVida will also have a sun deck swimming
pool, fitness centre and spa and will cruise

Waterways set to expand with two luxury ‘suite’ ships
Avalon
Waterways will take delivery of two new ‘suite’ ships in May
2013. These new ships will contain two new decks of suites designed
to provide guests with every luxury. The new Panorama Suite, 30
percent larger than the industry standard, boasts a king-size bed,
designer marble bathroom and floor to ceiling windows. The new ships
will also feature several lounges with outside viewing areas, a bar
and dining room, hairdressing salon, a ‘Sky Deck Jacuzzi’ and an

Tours goes all-inclusive and launches a new ship
Scenic
Tours has become the first river cruise line to offer all-inclusive
cruises covering all meals, unlimited drinks and even a personal
butler service for every guest. 2013 will also see the launch of a
new ship, Scenic Jewel, on Rhine and Danube itineraries whilst all
current ships on the same rivers will be refurbished. Scenic Tours
will also be expanding its European itineraries with a series of new
cruises on the Rhône plus over 20 new excursions across all cruises
with activities such as a private dinner and concert at the Rastatt
Palace or a visit to the Hockenheim Formula 1 Track in Heidelberg

The
River Cruise Line adds new four star cruises and announces selected
no single supplement cruises
The
River Cruise Line has announced that several of its cruises will run
with no single supplement in 2013. This offer is available for a wide
range of trips including a five day Rhine cruise, a Christmas 2013
Venice cruise and a Christmas 2012 Seine cruise. Plus, The River
Cruise Line will be introducing a selection of four star cruises,
onboard the Ms Switzerland II, and four, brand new cruise
itineraries. New cruises for 2013 will take in a selection of iconic
European destinations including Amsterdam as well as destinations
further afield Berlin such as Russia and the Mekong

Tauck
to drops single supplements on all 2013 European river cruises
Tauck
has announced that it will not be charging single supplements on its
2013 European river cruises, saving solo travellers substantial
amounts on hundreds of cruise options. Plus, Tauck will also be
launching two new itineraries on the Rhône, one with a family focus
and a second looking at the art and culture of southern

Shearings
has launched its new river cruise brochure, and will be offering 15
new itineraries in 2013. New routes include ‘Exploring Eastern
Europe’ taking in both Prague and Berlin for the first time. Guests
will be offered even greater flexibility with a bigger network of
luxury coaches allowing for travel from over 300 joining
