Atlanta's Georgia Tech Hotel Completes a Renovation

Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Inc. announced the completion of a $1.5 million renovation and upgrade to the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center.
Located in Midtown Atlanta, on the Georgia Institute of Technology campus, the hotel and IACC Conference Center is both managed and leased by Crestline.   All 252 guestrooms have been renewed with new wall coverings; carpeting; draperies -- including new sheers and blackout panels; all new lighting; new desk chairs; a new lounge chair and ottoman; as well as a luggage bench. In addition, each bed has been updated with new king and queen pillows and bed scarves. Additional amenities, such as an iHome dual alarm clock radio, have also been added in each guestroom. Each of the hotel’s suites has also been renovated.
The Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center is a marquee property in Crestline’s portfolio that includes nearly a dozen independent and university affiliated hotels,” said James Carroll, President & Chief Executive Officer, Crestline Hotels & Resorts. “Crestline recognizes that the success of an independent hotel requires excellence in quality and service while continually exceeding guest expectations. Operating under this philosophy Crestline invests in its leased properties helping to insure their success, and also works with owners within our managed portfolio to make smart and timely improvements. We are pleased with the renovations at the Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center and trust that our guests will enjoy the newly improved look and comfort,” added Carroll.
