Accor Vacation
Club has
completed the refurbishment of their apartments at
Grand Mercure Forest Resort – a country retreat close to Daylesford
and Ballarat in Victoria.
The
design look and feel is consistent with the “Resort Spa Series”,
providing a top level of quality and design for its Members and
guests.
This
upgrade is the third property this year, part of the extensive
refurbishment program underway throughout the Accor Vacation
Club portfolio.
To
celebrate the brand
new look, Accor Vacation Club is
offering a deal from
$216 per night (minimum 3 nights), for a 2 bedroom
apartment and the longer you stay, the
more you
save.
The apartments at
Creswick, in the heart of Victorian “Spa Country” feature rooms,
inspired by local design elements, with the use of a richer,
sophisticated palette to create warmth, and accounting for and
adapting to the environmental and climate conditions suitable to its
inland location
“Members
have come to expect a high level of comfort, design and
functionality, feedback from our members has been outstanding” said
Craig Wood, CEO of Accor Vacation Club.
“Members
can use their (premiere points which provides the flexibility to stay
at any of the Club’s 21 Resorts around Australia, New Zealand and
Bali”. “Typically our resorts run at a very high occupancy, thus
the design and
productsselected
need to be of a high
quality to
support this usage and to reach above our members’ expectations”.
said Craig.
Planned
to suit the local environment the design takes into account, a cooler
climate with apartments featuring gas
fireplaces, luxurious freestanding baths, fully
carpeted bedrooms, living and dining areas, and furniture conducive
to lounging, reading and warm comfort.
The
environmental aspects are well considered, with new water saving
devices on all bathroom
fittings, and LED lights replacing energy guzzling
flouro and down-lights.
Connectivity,
a modern day must, is served via a media hub, linked to 40”
television providing guests a peaceful haven to relax in seclusion,
whilst staying connected to the outside world.
Accor
Vacation Club’s Grand Mercure Apartments are adjacent to
the Novotel Forest Resort Creswick, and its Tony Cashmore designed
championship Golf Course all of which is also accessible to guests
(charges apply).
Set
in the green belt, famous for its mineral
springs and
spa centres, it is approximately 90 minutes drive from Melbourne CBD
(or 50 minutes drive from Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport).
