Centara Hotels & Resorts, to confirm the opening date of its first venture on the island of Mauritius, held a presentation to the Mauritius travel industry on Friday, November 16.
“We
are ready to welcome our first guests on December 10, slightly ahead
of the scheduled date, and in good time for the high season,” said
the resort’s General Manager, Mr. John Bendtsen.
“The
response we have had from the travel industry professionals here has
been a very positive one,” he added.
Centara
Poste Lafayette Resort & Spa Mauritius is on the eastern side of
the island, located on the coast road and just an hour’s drive from
the international airport.
Set
amidst manicured gardens and taking its design theme from the vibrant
and colorful culture of Mauritius, the resort is directly on the
beach and has its own lagoon.
There
are 100 guestrooms with sea or mountain views, and each featuring a
terrace or balcony and with all modern comforts including
international TV channels and free Wi-Fi.
