The Department of Commerce’s Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) is a grant program established to assist non-profit organizations in being more competitive by developing or expanding their exporting activities.
Here’s your early opportunity to learn more about federal funds available in 2013 that could help your organization be more competitive through exporting. The application deadline will probably be in mid- to late-February 2013. It should be similar to theannouncement of the 2012 competition. If you are not already familiar with the program, start with our About MDCP page.
To find out more about how your organization can receive MDCP funding, join The Department of Commerce’s Market for any of the conference calls planned for November and December. Go to trade.gov/mdcp and see details under the heading “Learn How to Compete to Receive MDCP Funding.”
The Office of Travel and Tourism Industries and the U.S. Foreign and Commercial Service are available for limited background-related assistance with market background and plan suggestions for this grant, as long as it is within the official MDCP guidelines.
