There is a particular kind of arrival that only a yacht this size can offer, slipping into harbors along the Portuguese and Spanish coast that larger ships simply pass by. This eight-night voyage opens SeaDream’s Mediterranean season in April, ahead of the summer crowds, when the Algarve still holds the soft light of early spring. From there, two countries reveal themselves port by port, the estuary hush of Setubal giving way to the sandstone cliffs of Portimao and the narrow strait at Ceuta, where Europe and Africa face each other across the water. Evenings linger in Cadiz and again in Puerto Banus, where late departures leave time for dinner on deck as the sunset fades behind the marina lights. |
