MIAMI – Royal Caribbean Group has appointed Tara Bunch, former Senior Vice President and Global Head of Operations at Airbnb, to its Board of Directors. She brings more than three decades of experience in global technology organisations, complex operations, customer experience and digital transformation.

Bunch most recently served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Operations at Airbnb. In that role, she oversaw Customer Service, Trust and Safety, Privacy, Payments, Insurance and Quality for hosts and guests in more than 220 countries and regions.
Before joining Airbnb, Bunch held senior leadership positions at Apple and Hewlett-Packard Company. Her responsibilities covered global customer service, technical support, repair operations, product development and technology-enabled services.
During more than 25 years at Hewlett-Packard, she supported large-scale improvements in customer support delivery, customer satisfaction and business performance. Her professional background also includes corporate governance and risk oversight.
Bunch serves on the board of The Vanguard Group, Inc., one of the world’s largest investment management companies. She is also a member of the company’s Audit Committee.
She holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
