Irish Ferries is boosting its summer travel offering with a new lineup of onboard duty-free and retail promotions, giving passengers more opportunities to save while sailing across the English Channel and the Irish Sea.
The ferry operator serves routes between Britain and Ireland, including Holyhead-Dublin and Pembroke-Rosslare, Dover-Calais between Britain and France, and Cherbourg-Dublin linking France and Ireland. On its Irish Sea network alone, Irish Ferries operates up to 12 sailings daily. The Dover to Calais service offers up to 20 daily returns in total.
For a limited time, travelers can save £10 when they spend £50 on selected spirits by using the Irish Ferries mobile app. The app-exclusive promotion is available through August 2.
The offer complements a broader range of onboard duty-free deals, including four bottles of spirits for £40 on Dover-Calais crossings and four bottles for €45 on Irish Sea routes.
Families traveling during the school vacation period can also take advantage of savings at the onboard LEGO pop-up shop. Passengers spending €50 or more through the Irish Ferries app on selected Irish Sea sailings receive €10 off their purchase.
Additional savings are available through the ferry operator’s Click & Collect service, where customers receive 10% off selected purchases. The service allows travelers to browse bestselling products, travel-retail exclusives, and promotional offers before departure, then collect their purchases onboard
Irish Ferries’ duty-free selection includes travel-exclusive pricing on premium spirits, fragrances, beauty products, confectionery, and other popular items, with many products selling for significantly less than comparable prices on the UK high street.
The retail promotions coincide with the company’s ongoing summer fare offers. Return day trips on the Dover-Calais route start from £56 for a car carrying up to five passengers.
Travelers heading to Ireland can book return sailings from £228 for a car and one adult, with children traveling free on bookings made before the end of August.
Whether passengers are planning a duty-free shopping excursion to northern France, a European road trip, or a family vacation in Ireland, Irish Ferries is combining competitive fares with onboard savings to enhance the travel experience.
