Since October 16, 2025, Air France and SNCF Voyageurs have enhanced their “Train + Air” offer, which allows customers to combine a flight and a train journey within a single reservation. In addition to TGV INOUI trains, it is now possible to book a trip that includes a OUIGO train ticket. Rail connections between Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport are now available for booking.
For over thirty years, Air France and SNCF Voyageurs have worked hand in hand to facilitate access to airports by train and to promote low-carbon mobility solutions whenever they are available. The cornerstone of this partnership is the “Train + Air” offer, which enables customers to combine, within a fully digital reservation, a flight and train journey, with the guarantee of being rebooked on the next available train or flight in case of irregularity.
Previously available only for TGV INOUI trains, this offer has now been extended to OUIGO trains, initially for routes to and from Aix-en-Provence TGV, Avignon TGV, and Marseille-Saint Charles stations. It will gradually be expanded to all 70 destinations served by OUIGO in France.
Whether traveling on OUIGO or TGV INOUI trains, SNCF and Air France customers benefit from:
- A single reservation for their entire journey,
- Guaranteed travel on the next available flight or train in case of irregularity, at no additional cost,
- A fully digital journey, with the possibility to check in online at airfrance.com starting 48 hours before departure (24 hours for flights to the United States).
With the addition of OUIGO, 27 train stations in France will be connected to Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport as part of the “Train + Air” offer by September 2026.
“Intermodality is a central pillar of Air France’s decarbonization strategy. The progressive integration of OUIGO trains into the Train+Air offer will allow our customers to benefit from a wider range of low-carbon travel options to reach Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport, not only from cities already served by TGV INOUI, but also, starting in 2026, from new stations across France.” Vincent Etchebehere, Director of Sustainability and New Mobilities, Air France.
“The integration of OUIGO trains into Train+Air marks a new milestone in SNCF Voyageurs’ partnership with Air France, strengthening intermodality and providing our customers with a seamless, digitalized travel solution accessible through a single booking.” Jérôme LAFFON, General Manager of OUIGO
To book, customers can use the Air France and SNCF Voyageurs booking channels, as well as partner travel agencies.
Furthermore, since February 2025, members of Flying Blue – the Air France-KLM loyalty program – have been able to convert their Miles into SNCF Voyageurs vouchers with a value ranging from €25 to €100. Accessible via the FlyingBlue.com website, this feature has quickly become the leading way for Flying Blue members to use their Miles outside of air services such as purchasing flight tickets.
