Organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with the online magazine Cruceroadicto.com, FITUR Cruises will be hosted in Hall
4 and will serve as a central meeting point for cruise companies, travel agents
and travellers. The Cruise Market area will act as the core hub for business
meetings, presentations and sector-focused content throughout the five-day
event.
Broad cruise
line representation across market segments
This year’s edition will feature twelve international cruise lines, the
highest number since the launch of FITUR Cruises. The line-up offers a
comprehensive overview of the cruise sector, covering family, premium, luxury
and river cruise segments.
Participating brands include Costa Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line in the family-oriented
segment, alongside Azamara Cruises, Celebrity
Cruises, Cunard Line, Princess Cruises, Virgin Voyages and Oceania Cruises in the premium and upper-premium
categories. The offer is further complemented by Regent Seven Seas, Emerald Cruises, Scenic Luxury Cruises and AmaWaterways, highlighting destination-led and
personalised cruise experiences across both ocean and river itineraries.
Specialised travel agencies such as Navega Mediterráneo and
shore excursion providers including Shore2Shore will also be present,
completing the cruise travel value chain for trade visitors.
Professional
focus during B2B days
During the B2B days, FITUR Cruises will deliver a targeted professional
programme through Cruise Campus, featuring talks and
mini-courses addressing the key trends shaping the cruise industry.
A new feature for the fifth edition is the introduction of two executive round tables, where industry leaders will discuss the present and future of cruise travel in the Spanish-speaking global market. The sessions will focus on two main themes: the ship as a destination, examining the on-board experience, and beyond the ship, exploring the role of destinations, cultural immersion and exclusive shore experiences.
Additional topics include the application of artificial intelligence in
cruising, passenger profiles and outlook for 2026, cruise market developments
in Latin America, premium and luxury segment analysis, river cruising trends,
and the evolving role of travel agencies.
Weekend
programme for travellers
At the weekend, the programme will shift towards consumers, offering
practical and experiential content aimed at travellers interested in cruising.
Through Cruise Campus, visitors will be able to attend talks covering the
diversity of cruise products, from boutique sea voyages to destination-focused
itineraries such as Alaska.
Interactive activities include the Cruise Scavenger Hunt,
sponsored by Descubre Puerto Rico, encouraging
visitors to explore FITUR through cruise-themed routes, with prize draws for
cruises and excursions. Café & Cruises sessions will provide informal
networking opportunities for experienced cruisers and first-time travellers to
exchange insights and experiences.
Cruceroadicto
Awards 2025
On Thursday 22 January, FITUR Cruises will host the 4th Cruceroadicto
Awards 2025, the only cruise industry awards fully decided by the
Spanish-speaking traveller community and endorsed by the AENOR quality mark.
The 2025 edition has recorded a record number of votes, recognising categories
such as best cruise line, best ship and best port of the year.
With its expanded scope and content, the fifth edition of FITUR Cruises
positions itself as a key annual meeting point for the cruise sector, bringing
together cruise lines, tourism professionals and travellers in a single,
integrated platform.
