Bolt has reported a 25% year-on-year increase in Bolt Business rides in June 2025, with over 50,000 companies now using the service for business travel across more than 50 countries in Europe and Africa. This growth reflects the company’s expanding influence in the business travel sector, offering a seamless and flexible service for corporate needs.
The highest volume of Bolt Business rides over the last 12 months occurred in Bangkok, Johannesburg, and Asunción – cities with dynamic central business districts. In terms of service use, businesses predominantly relied on Bolt’s ride-hailing, scooter, and on-demand car rental services, with the peak usage typically occurring on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Bolt Food for Business saw its most frequent orders placed at noon, underscoring the diverse ways businesses rely on Bolt for travel and sustenance
In 2024, Bolt Business expanded its reach into Azerbaijan, Belgium, and more than 200 cities across Europe and Asia. The company’s offerings grew to include Bolt Drive for Business in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, providing long-term car rentals as an alternative to corporate fleets. Bolt also integrated local providers in Germany, Poland, and Lithuania, expanding its car fleet for greater flexibility. Additionally, Bolt Food for Business launched in Portugal, allowing businesses and employees to easily order meals and snacks through the platform.
As a reflection of the company’s rapid growth, Amy Hackett was appointed Global Operations Director at Bolt Business. Having previously served as Regional Director for Europe, Hackett is tasked with driving operational excellence by leveraging the strategic impact of Bolt’s teams, technology, and processes globally. Under her leadership, Sales Operations, Partnerships, Enablement, and Customer Support now report directly to her.
