Stonewall + Pride Auction

On 28 June, we honor and remember the courageous individuals who sparked a revolution 55 years ago during the Stonewall Riots. In response to a discriminatory police raid at the Stonewall Inn in New York, brave LGBTQ+ figures like Marsha P. Johnson and Stormé DeLarverie took a stand, igniting days of protest that led directly to the formation of the Gay Liberation Front. This pivotal event became the catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. Today, the anniversary is marked by vibrant Pride celebrations worldwide, including at Christopher Park’s Stonewall National Monument, the first U.S. national monument dedicated to LGBTQ+ history.
