Built around a natural geothermal spring used by humans for nearly five millennia, AMEYALLI is located on 78 acres in the mountain town of Midway, UT. With 28 natural hot springs and views of the Wasatch Mountains, Appellation will manage and operate the property, consisting of an 80-key hotel and a Charlie Palmer restaurant and bar, as well as a Wellbeing Center complete with a spa, luxury pool and additional farm-to-table restaurant. The surrounding wellness development will also feature the AMEYALLI Center of Excellence in partnership with Dr. Chopra, as well as three types of private luxury residences.
Conceived by architecture firm Overland Partners, AMEYALLI Park City is built around a preserved granite dome, the highest point of the community, where generations of local dwellers and visitors journeyed to connect with the land’s healing energy. Design components, drawn from the geology of the site, will include a palette of materials and textures selected to provide a sense of place and unity with its surroundings, according to Appellation.
“Our name, Appellation, means ‘to give a name to a place,’ reflecting our commitment to infusing locally rooted experiences into every hotel we operate,” said Palmer, chef and cofounder/CEO, Appellation. “At AMEYALLI, this will mean integrating the wellness philosophies of Deepak Chopra, while celebrating the bounty of Utah’s mountain valleys and spotlighting local purveyors of Midway and the Park City region throughout the resort’s culinary program.”
Envisioned by Utah developer Charles Heath, in collaboration with Dr. Chopra, AMEYALLI will be dedicated to fostering wellbeing, spiritual discovery and personal growth. The resort’s Wellbeing Center will host a range of wellness activities and programs, aligned with Dr. Chopra’s lifetime teachings and Seven Pillars of Wellbeing. Guests will have access to multi-sensory treatments inspired by ancient healing traditions, innovative wellness techniques and a holistic approach to health and longevity. Drawing from Dr. Chopra’s teachings and wellness technology, the center will offer an array of programming, as well as a subterranean flooded hypostyle hall that contains thermal pools in a range of temperatures and qualities.

Located on the perimeter of Midway’s village, the property is located close to the newly expanded Deer Valley Ski Resort, Park City and both Salt Lake City and Provo airports.
