Singapore Airlines boosts London Gatwick service to daily

 Singapore Airlines is beefing up service to London Gatwick just ten months after launching the route.

The current five-weekly operation will increase to daily Singapore flights starting on 31 March 2025.

SIA offers connections to over 127 destinations in 36 countries worldwide

This includes connecting service from London Gatwick to Sydney in just 21 hours and 30 minutes.

Mohamed Rafi Mar, Singapore Airlines General Manager UK & Ireland, said: “There’s no greater testament to the success of our London Gatwick service than the expansion of our schedule within its first year”.

“With 40 direct weekly services between the UK and Singapore, we offer more flights than any other carrier to the region.”

The 13-hour flight to Singapore is operated with the long-haul variant of the Airline’s Airbus A350-900.

The 253-seat aircraft features 42 seats in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class and 187 in Economy Class.

Jonathan Pollard, Chief Commercial Officer, London Gatwick said: “The increase in Singapore Airlines’ service to a daily operation, within a year, highlights the huge success of the route.”

Business Class customers, as well as PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold members departing from London Gatwick can access the No1 Lounge, located at Gatwick North Terminal.

Singapore Airlines continues to operates four daily flights from London Heathrow and five-times weekly flights from Manchester to Singapore.

Customers get complimentary in-flight Wi-Fi in all cabin classes as a KrisFlyer loyalty member
