The 2025 PATA Annual Summit, set for April 21-23 in Istanbul, Turkey, is proudly hosted by the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) with the support of Turkish Airlines. The event will unfold at the CVK Park Bosphorus Hotel Istanbul, a central hub for this leading conference that attracts international tourism professionals.

Themed “Timeless Wisdom for a Sustainable Future,” the summit will delve into enduring values that influence our understanding of culture, community, and conservation. This gathering will provide a platform for industry leaders to engage in profound discussions on applying these age-old insights to modern-day challenges and opportunities. The agenda features a rich mix of a one-and-a-half-day conference, immersive local experiences, sessions for the PATA Executive and Main Boards, the PATA Annual General Meeting, a Youth Symposium, and numerous networking opportunities.

Istanbul, situated along the majestic Bosphorus Strait, is celebrated for its historic landmarks and stunning architecture, including the Hagia Sophia, Dolmabahçe Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. As an essential part of Turkey, which hosted 56.7 million international tourists in 2023 [TGA, 2024], Istanbul is crucial to one of the world’s rapidly expanding travel destinations.

Turkey’s commitment to safe and sustainable tourism is evident through its certification programs for lodging facilities, ensuring they meet high standards and strive for continuous improvement. Istanbul’s vibrant culture and booming economy make it a fitting backdrop for forward-thinking discussions on the future of travel and tourism.
