Accelya achieves record-breaking day and +146% YoY growth in 2024 corporate NDC bookings

MIAMI, USA & LONDON, UK – Accelya, leading retailing software provider for the global airline industry, announced a record-breaking day for corporate New Distribution Capability (NDC) bookings on January 7, 2025, alongside a +146% year-over-year growth in corporate NDC volumes for 2024 compared to 2023. This growth reflects the acceleration of modern retailing adoption among airlines and travel sellers, driven by the increasing demand for more seamless, relevant, and dynamic travel experiences.

This record-breaking growth reflects the expansion of NDC-enabled airline content across Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and the ongoing post-pandemic resurgence of corporate travel. Corporate travelers are increasingly seeking a balance between productivity, comfort, and cost-effectiveness, with a focus on a seamless experience. They prioritize the ability to easily adjust bookings, select seats, and manage itineraries – features enhanced by NDC that cater to the growing demand for personalization and convenience.

Accelya’s FLX ONE platform – powering over 50% of global NDC transactions and generating more than 30 billion unique offers daily – continues to enable airlines and travel management companies (TMCs) to deliver richer, more relevant content to corporate travelers. By seamlessly managing the entire Offer, Order, Settle, and Deliver (OOSD) retailing process, Accelya is supporting the industry’s transition toward more customer-centric airline retailing.

“2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for NDC adoption in corporate travel,”said Tye Radcliffe, Chief Customer Success Officer at Accelya. “Airlines and TMCs are steadily adopting modern retailing technologies to better meet the evolving expectations of business travelers. At Accelya, we’re proud to play a role in this transformation. Our FLX ONE platform gives airlines the flexibility to manage their full retailing journey while seamlessly integrating with key travel sellers and travel technology providers. This strong growth in TMC NDC volumes on January 7 and in 2024 overall reflects the collective progress the industry is making toward more connected and customer-centric retailing, with NDC volumes anticipated to see double-digit growth across the industry this year.”

This record-setting day and consistent growth in corporate NDC bookings throughout 2024 highlight how NDC adoption is opening new retailing opportunities for airlines and delivering greater value and choice to corporate travelers
