This growing market not only enhances visitor arrivals but also creates opportunities for local businesses to thrive.”
ATB Chairperson, Melisha Maccow-Niles, echoed the sentiment, noting that Anguilla’s ability to attract high-end cruise lines like Explora I underscores the island’s reputation as a sophisticated and sought-after destination. “Luxury cruise visitors bring an immediate economic boost, benefiting restaurants, beach bars, and local tour operators. These arrivals also open doors for future extended visits as passengers may choose to visit our island as stayover guests for their next vacation.”
Deputy Director of Tourism, Chantelle Richardson, highlighted the significance of this visit for Anguilla’s tourism. “Day trippers from the Explora I are experiencing the unique essence of Anguilla, from our pristine beaches to our culinary offerings.
