MSC Cruises launching first Alaska cruises in 2026

 

MSC Cruises will offer Alaska cruises for the very first time in 2026.

MSC Poesia will homeport in Seattle for the season and depart weekly on seven-night sailings to Alaska and Canada starting May 11, 2026.

Reservations are now open.

MSC guests sailing to Alaska will enjoy port calls to Ketchikan, Icy Strait Hoonah, Tracy Arm, Juneau and Victoria, BC.

Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises said: “By introducing sailings to Alaska we’re further extending our global offering and giving our guests the opportunity to experience this must-see region.”

The Alaska cruise season marks a new homeport in the US at Seattle.

MSC Poesia will spend the summer cruising to Alaska and then moves to Miami for the winter, featuring two transiting cruises through the Panama Canal.

A range of shore excursions will be offered featuring Alaskan outdoor adventures, culture, or culinary exploration.

This includes an ATV expedition, riding the world’s largest zipline or whale-watching excursions.
