Ottawa Infrastructure Surge: Four New Hotels To Transform The Conference And Event Landscape

 

Ottawa is set to elevate its event and conference appeal with the opening of four new hotels, offering cutting-edge facilities and accommodations over the next three years.

Ottawa is set to welcome four new hotels over the next three years, bolstering its position as a top-tier destination for business events, conferences, and large-scale gatherings. With the arrival of AC Marriott, Moxy, Renaissance, and Hard Rock Hotel, the city will gain cutting-edge accommodations and facilities, providing fresh alternatives to its existing hospitality options.

The first to debut, AC Marriott Ottawa, will open in autumn 2024. This elegant property will merge modern aesthetics with timeless comfort, offering spacious, sunlit meeting rooms, state-of-the-art conference spaces, and premium dining experiences. The hotel will feature 159 guestrooms and five meeting rooms spanning 3,648 square feet, with floor-to-ceiling windows, lounges, and outdoor spaces.

Following in spring 2025, Moxy Ottawa will bring its trendy, youthful vibe to the city’s hospitality landscape. Known for its bold and playful design, the hotel will offer 224 guestrooms, delivering a vibrant experience for both travelers and locals alike. Both AC Marriott and Moxy Ottawa will be situated in the bustling Byward Market, a short stroll from the Rideau Centre, University of Ottawa, and Shaw Centre.

By the end of 2025, Ottawa will see the opening of the iconic Hard Rock Hotel. Fusing Hard Rock’s signature rock ‘n’ roll energy with luxurious accommodations, the hotel will feature 150 guestrooms, 22 suites, and an 1,800-seat theatre, which can accommodate up to 2,200 standing guests. Additionally, the Hard Rock Hotel will offer a casino, restaurants, bars, lounges, and event spaces designed to host everything from intimate meetings to grand celebrations.

In 2027, the Renaissance Ottawa will make its downtown debut, offering 230 guest rooms and 6,000 square feet of sophisticated meeting space. Known for its distinctive style and personalized service, Renaissance Ottawa will add an extra layer of luxury to the city’s ever-expanding hotel scene.
