SATTE 2024, the South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange, organized by Informa Markets in India, has opened its doors, welcoming the global travel trade industry.
Held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, this event marks the 31st edition of South Asia’s premier B2B travel trade exhibition, running until February 24th, 2024.
Over the years, SATTE has grown significantly in importance, and the 2024 edition is set to further elevate its status as a pivotal platform for the travel trade industry across Asia and beyond.
This year, SATTE aims to bring together more than 1,500 exhibitors, 800+ hosted international and domestic buyers, and agents/operators/professionals from over 120 Indian cities and towns.
This diverse participation underscores the exhibition’s role in showcasing the vast potential of the B2B Asian travel and tourism market. Partnering with states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttarakhand highlights the pan-Indian engagement in promoting tourism.
One of SATTE 2024’s notable aspects is its international dimension, with confirmed participation from national tourism organizations (NTOs) of countries like Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Mauritius, and others.
This global participation enriches the exhibition’s offerings and fosters cross-border collaborations and knowledge exchange.
Strategic initiatives like “ATITHI,” a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet by the Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) supported by the Ministry of Commerce & Industries, aim to boost inbound tourism to India, showcasing SATTE’s role in promoting not just outbound and domestic tourism but also attracting international visitors.
SATTE 2024 serves as a melting pot for ideas, innovations, and partnerships, facilitating the exploration of new business opportunities and the forging of strategic alliances.
The exhibition’s comprehensive scope offers unique insights into emerging trends and opportunities within Asia’s booming travel market. Additionally, knowledge-sharing sessions addressing themes like ‘Tourism: The Balancing Act’ and ‘Roar of The MICE’ promise valuable insights into industry challenges and opportunities.
As the biggest edition yet, SATTE 2024 is poised to be a catalyst for growth in the Asian travel industry, enhancing its contribution to economic development and cultural exchange across Asia.
