Design Hotels:Chinese myth meets Wanders' playful aesthetic

Opening its doors in the Wanchai district is a new symbol for contemporary Hong Kong, rooted in Chinese tradition. The Mira Moon, conceived under the creative direction of Wanders & yoo, draws inspiration from the vivacity of China’s Moon Festival fairytale, creating a hotel that oozes drama and energy.

Throughout this fashion-forward hotel, the sophisticated yet playful scent of violet perfume permeates; staff rock Mira Moon’s bespoke chinoiserie fashion collection by designer Grace Choi and hairdos courtesy of a dedicated Staff Stylist. Over at the design-led Bar & Restaurant Super Giant, chefs conjure Chinese-Spanish tapas while the bartenders rustle up themed cocktails. Floor-to-ceiling views across Hong Kong harbor, a fully equipped 24-hour gym and spacious bathrooms with bathtub city views complete the hotel checklist.

Like The Mira Hong Kong, its sister hotel in Kowloon, Mira Moon melds traditional Asian hospitality with touchable technological wizardry. With a theme of ancient Chinese myths and a touch of 21st century, this unique 91-bedroom hotel invites guests to get a glimpse of the changing face of the city, and provides them with a space to connect with like-minded souls.
