Connections Luxury Philippines will run in partnership with the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines from 19-22 May.
It will showcase the country’s luxury-focused travel products to 40 selected global travel buyers.
It will be held on Boracay and backed by local brands including Shangri-La Boracay, Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay, and Sharp Travel Service.
Connections Luxury Philippines will connect luxury buyers with local suppliers using the unique ‘Connections Way’ concept.
It helps facilitate long-term business relationships through shared experiences.
During one-to-one meetings, buyers and suppliers will be able to enjoy activities like restorative yoga, art classes, soap making and calamansi muffin decorating.
The programme will also feature optional beach activities.
In addition to pre-scheduled meetings delegates will participate in an educational session centred on the Philippines’ role in the luxury market.
This session will be hosted by Liz Ortiguera, managing director for Asia Pacific and senior advisor to the CEO at the World Travel and Tourism Council.
Global travel buyers in attendance will also have the option to attend one of three post-event Fam trips.
These visit Cebu, El Nido and Metro Manila.
