Etraveli Group Opens Its Flight Engine to AI Agents with New Flight MCP

Stockholm, Sweden, October 28th, 2026 - Etraveli Group, the Global #1 Flight Platform, today announced the launch of its Flight MCP, an API for AI agents built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The launch adds Business-to-Agent (B2A) access to its established B2B and B2C capabilities. This gives AI agents and the developers who build them direct access to Etraveli Group’s booking engine, from search to a completed and serviced booking, and thereby access to the world's largest air content and Etraveli’s global search, booking and fulfillment capabilities, available in 75+ markets.

The Etraveli Group Flight MCP allows developers and AI builders to connect their Claude, ChatGPT or any other MCP-compatible AI client to access real-time flight content. Etraveli Group operates globally in 75+ markets, powers Booking.com flights and is the largest global flights fulfillment partner of the leading flight comparison site Skyscanner.

Andreas Marquardt, Chief Corporate Development Officer at Etraveli Group, said:
"What sets our Flight MCP apart is the access to the world's largest air content, competitive prices and a booking flow that spans from search and fare selection to payment and ticketing, offering superior capabilities and pricing with global reach. Powering Booking.com flights and growing rapidly across other consumer brands like Skyscanner and Google Flights has proven our position as the leading global tech platform for flights. By launching our Flight MCP we are taking one more step on our path to becoming the #1 global flight infrastructure layer for AI and digital commerce. The platform is now open to anyone building in this space.”

The frontier models and AI agents such as Meta's Muse are becoming a new front door to travel, but flights are among the hardest things to sell competitively: dynamic pricing, multi-carrier itineraries, strict fare rules, payments, ticketing, servicing and complexity from commercial relationships and legacy systems are all contributing to the challenge. Etraveli Group is opening its globally leading flight engine to AI developers, so that agent builders can focus on the traveller experience while Etraveli Group handles the flight complexity behind it.

What Flight MCP offers:

  • World-leading air content: Real-time flight search and fare comparison across 550+ airlines in 75+ markets giving any developer using AI agents access to Etraveli Group's air content, including its world-leading Virtual Interlining.
  • The whole booking flow in the conversation: Fare selection, passenger details, seats and luggage are handled in the conversation. The traveller only opens a secure, hosted payment page to enter card details or use any local payment option available.
  • Standard and simple to connect: Standard MCP over HTTP with OAuth 2.0 sign-in, and no SDK needed.
  • Built on proven infrastructure: The Flight MCP runs on the same flight technology platform that already serves more than 48 million travellers a year.

Who sells and services the booking:
Bookings are made with Etraveli Group through its Flightnetwork brand. Travellers receive their confirmation by email, and Flightnetwork customer service handles changes, cancellations and refunds.

How to get started:
Any developer can request access to to search, price and book flights through the AI Solutions page and connect their AI agent with the setup snippet on the page.

The Flight MCP is free to use for search and pricing. Booking is open to everyone: the agent gives the traveller a secure payment link, and the booking is completed and serviced by Flightnetwork. Partners who want to take payment in their own environment, or let an agent book on the traveller’s behalf, can integrate payments directly under a commercial agreement with Etraveli Group. Developer documentation is available.
