The announcement was made during a press briefing in Athens, where the airline outlined its extended 2026/2027 schedule for the Greek market. Air Canada will operate non-stop services to and from Athens deeper into January 2027, supporting year-round travel initiatives involving the Greek Ministry of Tourism and Athens International Airport.
Following a short winter pause, direct services will resume on March 6, 2027. During the peak summer season, the schedule will increase to up to 11 weekly flights from Toronto and 10 weekly flights from Montreal.

The airline also presented its three-cabin product configuration, including Air Canada Signature Class. The premium cabin features fully lie-flat executive pods with direct aisle access and chef-curated menus.
Beyond Canada, the services provide connections to US business hubs including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Connecting passengers can complete US customs and entry procedures at Canadian hubs before continuing to their destination.
