AIDA brings maritime holiday worlds to Hanse Sail 2026

Rostock, August 4, 2026 When Hanse Sail transforms Rostock and Warnemünde into a meeting place for traditional sailing ships, cruise ships, and maritime enthusiasts from around the world from August 6th to 9th, 2026, AIDA Cruises will be present as an Admiral Sponsor with numerous activities and new experiences. Visitors can expect a diverse program all about the world of AIDA, including a new AIDAselection show cabin, interactive activity areas, and the arrival of AIDAdiva and AIDAmar.

The centerpiece of the event is the AIDA Holiday World on the Haedge Peninsula. There, guests can discover the new AIDAselection show cabin for the first time. The offerings are complemented by the Wanderlust Experts, who will be on hand to advise on planned trips, as well as the popular AIDA Kissing Station, a popular photo spot. Visitors can also participate in a prize draw and, with a little luck, win an AIDA voucher worth €2,000. On the adjacent beach club area with its Sunshine Stage, deck chairs, cocktails, and a maritime atmosphere invite guests to relax and unwind. The AIDA Holiday World opens its doors on August 6 from 12 pm to 9 pm, on August 7 and 8 from 10 am to 9 pm, and on August 9 from 11 am to 8 pm.

At the AIDA Holiday World on the silo terrace in front of the company headquarters, visitors can also expect a diverse program from 10 am to 8 pm. In addition to personalized travel advice, a prize wheel with attractive prizes, an AIDA Lounge, and a kids' corner will provide entertainment for the whole family.

Special highlights include the arrivals of AIDAdiva on August 8 (8 am to 10 pm) and AIDAmar on August 9 (8 am to 5 pm) in Warnemünde. A maritime spectacle awaits as AIDAdiva departs on Saturday evening: Accompanied by the traditional fireboat FLB 40-3, the ship leaves the harbor at 10 pm amidst colorful water fountains in the AIDA colors.

For added entertainment, the popular AIDA mascot Dodo will be making his debut in a new look and will participate in the mascot parade at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, in the Kurhaus Garden in Warnemünde.

With this year's involvement, AIDA Cruises is once again underscoring its close ties to the Hanseatic city of Rostock and the Hanse Sail, one of Europe's most important maritime festivals. The interactive areas invite guests to experience cruising up close, find inspiration, and discover the diverse world of AIDA holidays.
