INSIGHT Matka Travel Fair travel survey and holiday forecast 2026 – Artificial Intelligence fuels travel fever Finnish travel demand remains strong despite economic uncertainty- 68% of Finns plan to travel abroad, while 73% intend to travel domestically. Notably, AI utilisation in travel planning surged from 4% to 11% over the past year. While southern Europe and Estonia remain favourite international destinations, distinct generational preferences exist, ranging from Gen Z's preference for digital tools and train travel to the oldest generation's preference for packaged tours.
