... Crime & Sea: Suspense on the High Seas

As the days grow shorter and the evenings longer, AIDAnova will transform into a meeting place for crime fiction fans and true crime enthusiasts from January 23 to 30, 2027, sailing from/to Hamburg along the coast of Western Europe's major cities. The "Crime & Sea" voyage offers exciting insights into the world of crime, investigative work, and crime fiction.

On board is Sebastian Fitzek, Germany's most successful thriller author. Through readings and discussions, he will offer insights into his bestsellers and the fascination of psychological suspense.

Nele Neuhaus promises top-notch entertainment for all those who love gripping crime stories and captivating suspense. She is one of Germany's most successful crime authors, and her novels enthrall millions of readers worldwide. True crime fans can look forward to "Toxic Love" with the popular podcast duo Jacqueline Belle and renowned criminal defense attorney Dr. Alexander Stevens. The two hosts shed light on fascinating criminal cases and offer viewers the opportunity to delve directly into the investigations and ask questions. Renowned experts like Dr. Marcus Schwarz, forensic entomologist and wound ballistics specialist at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Leipzig, provide a glimpse behind the scenes of real investigative work. He demonstrates how modern forensics contributes to solving crimes and the significance even the smallest traces can have for investigations. Former criminal defense attorney and bestselling author Veikko Bartel shares insights from his many years of experience in some of Germany's most spectacular murder trials and focuses on the people behind the crimes. Furthermore, "Blood Traces Live," one of the most popular true-crime formats, is brought aboard AIDAnova: Forensic scientists, homicide investigators, and other insiders, led by host Dr. Tino Grosche, reconstruct true criminal cases live on stage and offer unique insights into their work.
