Caring for the ocean is more than a special day: it’s part of our everyday mission. From safeguarding baby turtles and restoring coral reefs to minimizing plastic waste, Club Med Resorts are committed to protecting marine life.

1. Marine Conservation

Marine conservation is supported through the Only Blue for Reef program, in partnership with the Perry Institute for Marine Science and Reef Check, helping restore coral, monitor reef health, and engage local communities through educational sessions, snorkeling experiences, and school visits.

2. Saving Sea Turtles

Partnerships with Protortuga and the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of the Dominican Republic help safeguard sea turtle nests across 50 km of Dominican beaches

3. Keeping the Beach Clean

Club Med Cancún

In partnership with SEMARNAT, Mexico’s federal agency dedicated to protecting and restoring natural ecosystems and biodiversity:

✓ Sea turtle monitoring and release program: In 2025, an estimated 11,800–12,300 hatchlings were protected and released into the ocean.

✓ Daily beach cleaning carried out by the gardening and maintenance teams to preserve coastal ecosystems and protect marine wildlife.
