OYSTER BAY, NY (June 2, 2026): As demand for travel advisors continues to climb, the KORE education program is introducing a profile tool to help prospects evaluate whether they are well-matched to the realities of the field.
The interactive online assessment, “Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Million-Dollar Travel Advisor?”, presents scenarios drawn from real-world challenges – ranging from flight disruptions and technology snafus to last-minute hotel complications. Travelers are increasingly relying on expert planning, particularly for complex, customized itineraries. Agencies are expanding hiring efforts to keep pace. At the same time, the average travel advisor is 50 years old, according to Zippia, underscoring the need to attract younger talent.
Market forecasts reinforce the urgency. Travel agency services are expected to grow by 10.4 percent each year to $1.4 trillion in 2035, according to Future Market Insights. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates 7,100 advisor openings annually over the next decade.
