As Demand Surges, KORE Launches Profile Tool to Identify Next Generation of Million-Dollar Travel Advisors

New Assessment Reveals If Aspiring Consultants Are Suited for Fast-Growing Profession

OYSTER BAY, NY (June 2, 2026): As demand for travel advisors continues to climb, the KORE education program is introducing a profile tool to help prospects evaluate whether they are well-matched to the realities of the field.

The interactive online assessment, “Do You Have What It Takes to Be a Million-Dollar Travel Advisor?”, presents scenarios drawn from real-world challenges – ranging from flight disruptions and technology snafus to last-minute hotel complications. Participants select how they would respond to the situations. At the end of the 10 questions, the profiler reveals the person’s aptitude for an advisor career.

“The sky’s the limit for travel advisors today,” said Diana Hnatov, Director of Sales and Services for KORE. “There’s so much opportunity to create a satisfying, successful career – for those candidates with the right strengths. This tool gives aspiring advisors a better sense of whether the profession aligns with their instincts and skills.”

Filling the Talent Gap

The profiler launch comes as opportunities at a crucial moment for the travel industry. LinkedIn has named the travel advisor profession as one of its top 25 Jobs on the Rise for two consecutive years.

Travelers are increasingly relying on expert planning, particularly for complex, customized itineraries. Agencies are expanding hiring efforts to keep pace. At the same time, the average travel advisor is 50 years old, according to Zippia, underscoring the need to attract younger talent.

Market forecasts reinforce the urgency. Travel agency services are expected to grow by 10.4 percent each year to $1.4 trillion in 2035, according to Future Market Insights. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates 7,100 advisor openings annually over the next decade.

KORE’s mission is to recruit and train the next generation of advisors,” said Hnatov. “This assessment will spark the interest of prospects and set expectations about what it takes to be a success in this career.”

Enriching KORE Tools

The Million-Dollar Advisor profiler joins a suite of features on KORE’s recently enhanced training platform to give learners more control over their experience and to make professional development more compelling and accessible.

The updated program now offers mobile access for flexible learning anywhere and anytime, as well as multimedia content to bring courses alive with narration, subtitles, video and audio tools. KORE’s interactive curriculum makes learning more fun and engaging, with quizzes, personalized skill tracking and digital badges recognizing learner progress.
