City, country, sea with AIDA: Over 450 cruises for summer 2028 now bookable

Rostock, March 24, 2026 AIDA Cruises has released its summer 2028 program. Over 450 voyages from April to October 2028 offer guests a wide selection of itineraries in Northern Europe, the Baltic Sea, and the Mediterranean.

Northern Europe: Grand Natural Moments in the Far North

Spectacular fjords, powerful waterfalls, glacial landscapes, and endless summer days make Northern Europe one of the most popular travel destinations. In summer 2028, the itineraries of AIDAprima and AIDAnova will take passengers to the famous UNESCO World Heritage fjords of Geirangerfjord and Aurlandsfjord. AIDAluna will depart from Kiel on two-week voyages to the North Cape, the northernmost point of Europe, and to the Lofoten Islands, known for their striking mountains, red fishermen's houses, and impressive bays. True adventures await on AIDAsol's voyages to Iceland and Greenland, which will also be offered for the first time in combination with Spitsbergen as a 29-day voyage. AIDAbella sails from Hamburg along the diverse Atlantic west coast of Europe and to destinations in northern Spain, as well as various itineraries to England, Scotland, and Ireland.

Baltic Sea & Scandinavia: Tradition, Culture, and Nordic Ease

Between Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and the Baltic countries, guests can expect a diverse mix of nature, maritime history, and vibrant cities. In 2028, a variety of Baltic Sea and Scandinavian cruises ranging from 3 to 14 days are available – ideal for those who decide at the last minute or for guests who want to delve deeper into the region. The itineraries of AIDAdiva, AIDAmar, and AIDAsol include stops in Stockholm, Riga, Tallinn, Gdansk, and Copenhagen, among others. The impressive coastal scenery of the archipelago complements many of the itineraries. A particular highlight is the 12-day voyage to Lapland, which includes stops in Kemi and Oulu in northern Finland – regions known for their vast forests, the midnight sun, and traditional Sami culture.

Western Mediterranean: Experience Diverse Coasts and Cities

The western Mediterranean will once again captivate visitors in summer 2028 with its mild climate, millennia-old history, and wealth of culturally rich metropolises. AIDAcosma will sail from Mallorca or Barcelona on various one-week itineraries, which can also be combined into 10-, 11-, and 14-day voyages, visiting destinations such as Florence, Rome, Corsica, Sardinia, and Gibraltar. AIDAstella expands the offerings with 10- and 11-day itineraries that include stops on the French Riviera, in Sicily, in Portugal, and in the Balearic Islands. New for summer 2028 are calls at the Tunisian port city of La Goulette, a popular starting point for excursions to the capital city of Tunis, the historic medina, and the archaeological site of Carthage. Also new to the itinerary is the northern Italian port of Genoa, whose medieval old town and the impressive Palazzi dei Rolli are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Eastern Mediterranean: Cultural Diversity between Greece, Turkey, and the Adriatic Coast

The Eastern Mediterranean continues to present itself in 2028 as a region of great diversity – from ancient sites and sun-drenched islands to vibrant metropolises. AIDAblu will sail along the Adriatic coast and to the Greek islands, offering five different 7-day cruises from Corfu, which can be combined into 14-day tours. Guests can look forward to visiting Crete, Malta, Dubrovnik, Athens, and Kuşadası in Turkey. In April 2028, AIDAblu, and in October 2028, AIDAstella, will also depart from Antalya for cruises to Egypt and through the famous Dardanelles to Istanbul.
